Univision premieres ‘Al Punto’.

Univision will debut “Al Punto” (To the Point), with Noticiero Univision anchor Jorge Ramos, the network’s new one hour Sunday morning program where today’s most prominent politicians and newsmakers will meet to discuss the issues that affect the growing Hispanic community in the United States, on September 9th at 10:00 am ET (9:00 am Pacific).

Featuring one-on-one interviews with world leaders and other well-known people in the news, “Al Punto” will go beyond the 15 second sound-bite and get to the point of the news events and issues that are
most relevant to Hispanic viewers. In addition, as we approach an election year in which Hispanics will play a vital role in the nation’s political future, Univision’s Washington D.C. bureau will become a must-stop for every candidate, politician, and policy maker in town.

“There has never been a time when so many of the day’s hottest topics have so directly affected the lives of Hispanics in this country,” said host and moderator Jorge Ramos. “And there’s never been a time when a program such as ‘Al Punto’ has been more eagerly-awaited by our viewers to get these issues out on the table and get some real answers from the people who actually help shape them.”
