Zulema Arroyo steps down from position at GlobalHue New York.

Zulema Arroyo announced today she will step down from her post as Group Account Director at GlobalHue New York. Arroyo stated the pursuit of new opportunities and personal goals in a thriving market as the reason for her departure. “I expect that I will take on new challenges where my track record in consumer business development and experience with the Hispanic market can be further capitalized on.”

During Arroyo’s tenure at GlobalHue, she was responsible for the Verizon Wireless and Telecom account group. Arroyo’s contributions involved enabling the growth of the account and acting as senior leader in charge of the Telecom transition, including the recently announced Verizon Wireless Areas consolidation. As a member of the Senior Management team, Ms. Arroyo served a pivotal role in achieving client base growth targets in the New York office. Her hands-on involvement with the Account Management team was a prime factor in building an environment of trust, without which growth could not have been accomplished.

“GlobalHue has been a great experience for me; particularly the people I have had the pleasure of working with here at the agency, including the staff and senior management, peers, and not least of all the client” said Arroyo. “Once a strong team is in place, focus and energy can be dedicated to the process of promoting client success and growing their business. Teamwork simply differentiates good agencies from all the rest”- she added.

Arroyo relocated from Irvine, California to join GlobalHue as Group Account Director to lead the Verizon Wireless and Telecom businesses, backed by success in building client relationships and providing strategic leadership in the industry. Prior to GlobalHue, Zulema was Group Managing Director for The Bravo Group/Y&R with responsibilities for the Irvine and San Francisco offices. At Bravo she assembled a team to manage the multi-million dollar Mazda, Jaguar and LandRover businesses. Prior to that, Ms. Arroyo held a client marketing role at Hyundai Motor America where she launched the Hyundai brand to the Hispanic market and led the Hispanic advertising efforts.
