Telemundo’s WKAQ-TV honored by Overseas Press Club in Puerto Rico.

Telemundo announced it received top honors at the 69th Annual Overseas Press Club Awards held at the Hotel San Juan in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The network’s affiliate station WKAQ-TV, Puerto Rico, was awarded high honors in five “Best News Broadcasting” categories.

“To be recognized by the Oversees Press Club is one of the highest accolades among the broadcasting and journalism industries,” said Juan Miguel Muniz, News Director, WKAQ TV, Puerto Rico. “At Telemundo, we pride ourselves in delivering the most up-to-date and quality news that is relevant to our audience. Our news stations strive daily for excellence in journalism and these honors validate that mission.”
