Televicentro de Puerto Rico opens National Sales Division in Miami.

Televicentro de Puerto Rico announced that effective this month, the Network will handle all National Sales from its new offices in Miami, FL. Televicentro’s Miami office will oversee all National Sales for the Station in PR and for WAPA America in the US.
Joe Ramos, President and General Manager of WAPA-TV added, “Our National Sales Division will service the Hispanic Advertising Agency Community as well as their clients by becoming more accessible to them and offer ‘custom’ opportunities that range from product integrations on our original shows to targeted advertising initiatives and promotions”.
Heading the new National Sales Office, headquartered in Coral Gables, will be Rafael Pérez-Subirá. Rafael has over 12 years experience with WAPA-TV, the Puerto Rico Market and U.S. National Television Sales.
In addition to its new National Sales Office, WAPA will continue to work with GME for WAPA America sales from New York and with WorldLink for Direct Response out of Los Angeles.
