Beckham grants La Opinión All-access Exclusive Interview.

La Opinión has been selected as the only Spanish-language print publication nation-wide to conduct an all-access interview for print and online with soccer super-star, David Beckham. David Beckham, soccer star and international media icon signed a five-year deal with the LA Galaxy that includes incentives reaching as high as $250 million over the life of the contract. Beckham is scheduled to make his debut with his new club July 21 against Chelsea of the English Premier League.

Beckham is celebrated around the world for his match winning skills as a player in addition to his overall contributions to clubs Real Madrid, Manchester United and England. Beckham is also recognized as the only Englishman to have scored in three successive World Cup Finals.

Beckham has won six Premiership medals, two FA Cups, one Champions League and the Intercontinental Cup (now known as FIFA Club World Championship), the most important club prize in the world soccer calendar. Additionally, he has been made an Officer of the British Empire by the Queen, voted the BBC’s “Sports Personality of the Year” and has played for England more than 90 times.

Known for premier soccer coverage, La Opinión was the first news medium to break the story of Beckham’s move to the U.S. in October 2006.
