NBC and Telemundo are co-hosting an open-casting call for English, Spanish and bilingual-speaking actors interested in becoming a part of the NBC and Telemundo talent pool beginning Friday, June 8, in Miami, Florida.
The open call audition is designed to add diverse and fresh faces to NBC and Telemundo’s expanding talent pool. Both networks will be represented by talent executives who oversee casting and talent development for all entertainment programming respectively.
“NBC and Telemundo are always seeking bright new faces for our growing series commitments and multiple new platforms that can deliver new content to our increasingly diverse audiences,” said Marc Hirschfeld, Executive Vice President, Casting, NBC Entertainment. “We want to offer new opportunities to the incredible actors in South Florida and eventually, to new untapped markets beyond as we seek to find the exciting stars of tomorrow.”
“This open-casting process further broadens the horizons of our respective audiences and reflects our commitment to find and develop new Hispanic talent,” said Don Browne, President, Telemundo. “We want to partner with NBC to attract crossover talent from the vibrant Greater Miami area and find the new stars of the future for our original productions.”
