Azteca America announced a new affiliate for Sacramento.
The Sacramento-Modesto-Stockton metropolitan area, the eleventh-largest Hispanic market in the country, is also home to four Bustos Media FM radio stations.
“We are delighted to welcome Bustos Media to their second Azteca America market,” said Luis J. Echarte, Chairman of Azteca America. “Bustos is a seasoned Hispanic market media company that brings a lot of know-how to our affiliate group, and will bring promotional activities to a higher level than before in this market.”
Bustos Media launched an Azteca America television affiliate in Milwaukee in December of 2006. The company operates a total of 25 Hispanic radio stations, primarily in the western half of the country.
“We are elated to have this great opportunity to combine our radio assets with such outstanding television programming that boasts solid Mexican roots,” said Amador S. Bustos, President and CEO of Bustos Media. “We are also confident that our unique combination in Sacramento of television and radio will be a strong competitive advantage for the market.”
