Saunders – Brand and Advertising Executive @ Bank of America.

Bank of America Chief Marketing Officer Anne Finucane announced that Anne Saunders would be joining the company as Brand and Advertising Executive, effective June 1. In this newly established role, Saunders’ responsibilities will include overall brand management, advertising, sponsorships, enterprise research and agency engagement. She will report to Finucane, and will be based in Charlotte.
Saunders joins Bank of America from Starbucks Coffee Company, where she most recently served as Senior Vice President of Global Brand Strategy and Marketing, and was responsible for global brand management, market research, advertising, field marketing, retail promotions and strategic partnerships.
“Anne brings extensive and relevant experience to her new role,” said Finucane. “During her tenure at Starbucks, where the company experienced tremendous expansion of its franchise, Anne helped lead the rapid rise of the brand’s awareness, favorability and social impact — all strategic elements of our brand marketing and advertising focus at Bank of America.” Prior to Starbucks, Saunders held marketing leadership positions at McCaw Communications/AT&T Wireless and 15 years of agency experience with Bozell & Jacobs, Ted Bates, Young & Rubicam and Earle Palmer Brown.
