MEGA TV’s Circulo broadcasts from Casa de Campo.

WSBS-Mega TV Channel 22 announced that one of its signature programs, El Circulo, hosted by well-known journalist Ana Remos, will broadcast from the Casa de Campo resort in La Romana, Dominican Republic, on Tuesday, May 1st at 9:00 p.m.

In the celebration of Spring, Remos will take a deep look at the birthplace of the famous Andalucian Fair, and explore the village of Altos de Chavón in the Dominican Republic. Remos will be joined at the Casa de Campo resort by many popular El Circulo personalities, including: Jorge and Darlene Pérez, Alfy Fanjul and fiancé Raiza Herrera, Lían Fanjul de Azqueta and husband Norberto Azqueta, and Osmel Sosa. Mega TV viewers will experience the cultural significance of this annual fair that dates back to 1847.

Today’s Andalucian is a modern version of the original fair, and includes tennis, golf, music, astronomy and dancing. Fair participants will be dressed in traditional Andalucian costumes, created by popular Spanish fashion designer Pilar Vera.

Remos will also take a tour of Casa de Campo’s majestic homes, and interview Bibi León, a talented local artist whose Caribbean art is inspired by the island. Remos will also review a new restaurant, El Pescado, brought to the Dominican from the owners of New York’s famous Le Cirque restaurant.
