Luis Miguel Cuenca joins Market Vision.

Luis Miguel Cuenca, a marketing veteran with more than 15 years’ creative experience at agencies in both Mexico and the U.S., has joined Latina-owned Market Vision as VP/Creative Director.

Luis Miguel has extensive background in a variety of categories and is a welcome addition to our Creative team.”

Cuenca will work in tandem with co-VP/Creative Director Robert Sosa and the creative team. A native of Mexico City, Cuenca has worked on campaigns for beverages (beer, soft drinks, energy drinks, rum, chocolate), retail, airlines, clothing, automotive, banking, food and nonprofit.

Before joining Market Vision, Cuenca was creative director at a Houston Hispanic agency, and also was account-planning director for almost two years with a Dallas-based Hispanic firm, where he worked on beer, beverage, retail, food, grocery store, airline and apparel accounts.

Cuenca began his advertising career as a copywriter at Noble y Asociados in Mexico City and was promoted to creative director in 2 ½ years. He also has held creative director positions at several other agencies in Mexico, including DDB and McCann Erickson.

Cuenca has earned a number of awards, including FIAP (Iberoamerican Advertising Federation, 1999, 2004, 2005), New York Film Festival (1991, 2002), Círculo Creativo Mexico (2001-2004), and EFFIE Mexico (2000).
