TuTv pats tribute to Pedro Infante’s legacy.

TuTv announced that its contemporary and classic Spanish-language movie network, De Película, will dedicate the month of April to honor Pedro Infante’s legacy in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of his death.
Pedro Infante is generally regarded as the greatest idol in the history of Mexican cinema and remains popular today. He appeared in about 60 films and recorded over 350 songs throughout his career. On Sunday, April 15th, the actual day of the anniversary of his death, beginning at 7:00 am EST/6:00 am CST, De Película will present a marathon of “el ídolo del pueblo” (the people’s idol) movies, among them “Los tres García,” “Angelitos negros,” “Nosotros los pobres” and “Pepe el toro.”
