Parsons joins ImpreMedia’s Vista Magazine.

ImpreMedia announced the hiring of Donald K. Parsons as general sales manager for Vista magazine.

Vista Magazine, acquired by ImpreMedia in November 2006, is the most widely distributed Hispanic magazine in the U.S. with a circulation of one million.

Parsons is an accomplished advertising and sales professional with over 30 years experience, from president of his own broadcasting rep firm, general manager of Spanish-language radio and TV networks and advertising manager at a daily newspaper.

Most recently he was Southeast/Midwest regional sales manager for Liberman Broadcasting in Miami. Prior to that role he was vice president-Northeast Manager at Radio Unica, the nation’s only full time Spanish-language radio network. In addition, Parsons served as senior vice president and general manager for Telemundo’s WNJU-TV in New York.

Beyond broadcasting, Don has several years experience in print, including advertising sales management at El Nuevo Herald, the second largest Spanish-language daily newspaper.

“Don’s wide ranging experience in television, radio, newspaper and magazine and the caliber of his expertise in management, sales, advertising and promotion will provide the strong leadership and strategic vision to cultivate a new and improved Vista Magazine,” said Francisco Lozano, corporate director of magazines at ImpreMedia. “His proven skills will help us create a dynamic newspaper magazine that readers will find compelling and a vibrant medium that will maximize revenue for national advertisers. He will be a key contributor in building on the momentum ImpreMedia has established since its inception in 2004.”
