Bromley Communications earns 24 Addys.
February 13, 2007
Bromley Communications has racked up 24 ADDY® awards in 2007. The agency won seven awards this weekend at the Miami AdFed show. Earlier this year, the agency earned 17 ADDY® awards from the San Antonio chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF). The combined honors included six Gold, eight Silver and 10 Bronze ADDY®s as well as the “Best of Show” award for its ground-breaking marketing campaign for the San Antonio Symphony.
In addition to the “Best of Show” award, the inaugural campaign for the San Antonio Symphony garnered two Gold awards for the “I’m Ready to Rock” print campaign and the symphony’s season brochure in addition to Silver awards for “I’m with the Band” and “Ready to Rock” from the Out of Home (OOH) element of the campaign.
The innovative marketing campaign was created to reframe the symphony as the City’s ‘local band’, to gather support for the music and to capture the ‘fandom’ that music followers have for their favorite or local bands. The multi-faceted campaign incorporated a grassroots component with “I’m With the Band” stickers and flyers that were posted and distributed at non-traditional venues such as college campuses, café houses and trendy clubs.
“The campaign presented by Bromley Communications has captured the attention of the market and new symphony attendees and removed some of the perceived barriers,” stated Carolyn Bacon, Vice President of Marketing for the San Antonio Symphony. “We have had people thank us for finally inviting them to attend, have increased Classical single ticket sales 14% overall and Classical subscriptions have reached 98.5% of goal because of the campaign’s success. Bromley Communications Rocks!” added Bacon.
This is the first time that the agency received awards at two local AAF shows and the first time the Bromley Miami office participated in the local competition earning Silver and Gold ADDY s for seven of the 12 entries submitted. One of the Gold winners was a television spot for BURGER KING called the “Fourth King” featuring a holiday message delivered by the King to “Los Reyes Magos” or Three Kings. The spot aired nationally and in Mexico and Puerto Rico.
“We strive to continually provide insightful and innovative creative work for all our clients,” stated Catarino Lopez, chief creative officer of Bromley Communications. “The awards represent a broad spectrum of the creative work we produce each year, for both long-standing and new clients,” added Lopez.
