ESPN Deportes ¡En Vivo! debuts @ Miami’s Calle Ocho Festival.

ESPN Deportes unveiled ESPN Deportes ¡En Vivo!— a interactive multimedia showcase contained within a 80’ X 70’ stadium-like experience debuted at Miami’s famed Calle Ocho Festival.

ESPN Deportes ¡En Vivo! is designed to bring life the extensive ESPN Deportes brand— from TV programming, to radio network, to magazine, and sports’ Web site. ESPN Deportes ¡En Vivo! will tour with a five-city program to marquee Hispanic events in New York, Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles throughout 2007. DISH Network’s DishLATINO, which offers ESPN Deportes nationwide, was co-sponsor ESPN Deportes ¡En Vivo! in Miami’s Calle Ocho festival.

“We are proud to unveil ESPN Deportes ¡En Vivo!” said Juan Alfonso, senior director of marketing, ESPN Deportes. “As the leading Spanish-language multimedia sports brand, our goal is to raise the bar on the sports experience for Latinos. This is yet another example of the company’s commitment to give fans the opportunity to further interact with our brand. We also hope to attract sponsors that share our passion for elevating experiential marketing for Latinos and move away from the safe, traditional activities that have become so commonplace in the Hispanic market.”

“We are always looking for creative ways to provide additional value and bring ESPN Deportes to life for our affiliates,” said Robyn Remick, vice president, affiliate marketing, Disney and ESPN Media Networks. “ESPN Deportes ¡En Vivo! is a unique platform that provides our affiliates the opportunity to have greater brand interaction with their customers.”
