Azteca America’s Nathalie Rayes selected for Prestigious Fellowship Program.

Nathalie Rayes, Public Relations Director of Azteca America, a Grupo Salinas Company, has been selected as a fellow for the Asia Society’s Asia 21 Young Leaders Forum, a nonprofit, nonpartisan, educational institution founded in 1956 by John D. Rockefeller III.

The Asia 21 Young Leaders Forum aims to create a sustained network of tomorrow’s leaders from all sectors — business, politics, civil society, media, arts & culture, and academia — and better prepare them for the future challenges and responsibilities of global citizenship. The program revolves around an impressive group of twenty five fellows from around the world representing their industries and countries. Nathalie will be representing Azteca America and Grupo Salinas as the United States representative for the business sector.

Becoming a fellow will provide Nathalie with an opportunity to interact and cultivate partnerships with an influential group to help further the interests of Azteca America nationally and internationally. In addition, she will share the values of Azteca America and Grupo Salinas with the next generation of leaders.

“We are very proud to have one of our own selected for this distinguished program,” said Luis J. Echarte, Chairman of the Board of Azteca America. “Based upon her impressive achievements, especially leading our public relations efforts in the United States, I believe Nathalie will bring a diverse experience and values-based leadership to this very important group of fellows.”

Prior to joining Azteca America, Nathalie served as the Deputy Chief of Staff to Los Angeles Mayor James K. Hahn, and was Senior Policy Advisor to Los Angeles Councilmember Mike Feuer.
