Zubi shines @ 2007 Miami ADDY Awards.

Zubi Advertising was the big winner at the 2007 ADDY Awards last night leading the field with a whopping 27 Gold awards and a Best of Show. The annual ceremony presented by the Miami Advertising Federation took place at the Country Club of Coral Gables where local advertising agencies, design firms, artists and students were recognized for creative excellence in 2007.

“We are honored to be recognized for our work by Miami’s advertising industry and our peers,” said Joe Zubizarreta, Chief Operating Officer of Zubi Advertising. “We are just trying to make mom proud,” a testament to his mother, Zubi founder and CEO Tere Zubizarreta.

Zubi was awarded Best of Show in the non-English Print category for its YMCA “Sweat” ad, quite notable for a Hispanic market agency. Known for its innovative and integrated media approach, Zubi received 27 Gold awards across various mediums including broadcast, print, direct marketing, out-of-home and public service for such clients as Washington Mutual, the Florida Lottery, Mercury and the Commercial Drivers License School.

Next to Zubi, fellow Hispanic agency del Rivero Messianu DDB had the second most awards with 15 Golds. Turbulence scored 13.
