AM 830 KLAA announced the appointment of Los Angeles radio veteran Tom Bell to the position of General Sales Manager.
“With my experience in launching two stations previously, I’m extremely excited to take part in the re-launch of a great station with such a powerful signal,” said Bell. “And with partnerships with such marquee names like Glenn Beck, Angels Baseball, the Ducks and more, I can’t imagine a more solid base to work with. I’m thrilled to be on the AM 830 team.”
“Tom brings with him a wealth of experience, integrity and leadership to our station and is extremely well-respected throughout the advertising community,” said AM 830 General Manager Alan Fuller. “We are most fortunate to have Tom join our management team and oversee our sales efforts.”
A broadcast veteran, Tom began his career at Bonneville International’s KBIG Los Angeles serving in the capacities of Business Manager, Account Executive and Local Sales Manager. In 1987 Tom moved to United Broadcasting’s KALI as General Sales Manager and then to El Dorado’s KMQA and KRTO in the same capacity. For the past 9 years Tom was General Sales Manager for Entravision’s KSSE and KLYY.
