Luis Miguel Messianu’s passion for advertising.

Luis Miguel Messianu, Chief Creative Officer at del Rivero Messianu DDB advertising continues his active involvement in the advertising industry.

He was selected to judge the final stage of the Effie Awards, as well as, chosen to appear as a guest speaker on Telemundo’s “Cada Dia” program with Maria Antonieta Collins.

The Global Effie’s were created in 2003 to honor campaigns that have proven their effectiveness in multiple markets worldwide. The judging is March 1st. In order to ensure that Effie is honoring the industry’s most effective work, there are three rounds of judging for each entry. Luis Miguel is the only Hispanic judge participating in the final Grand Effie.

In addition, del Rivero Messianu recently hosted the AHAA Conference in Miami, FL. Due to his appearance at this conference, he was asked to appear as a guest speaker on Telemundo’s program “Cada Dia”. Luis Miguel will share new trends in Hispanic advertising and educate the audience on advertising in general.

“From the very beginning of my career shift to the US Hispanic I always thought that advertising offered me the possibility of building an agency, of helping build a stronger industry and most of all build long lasting friendships with my colleagues. I consider myself very fortunate”, said Luis Miguel Messianu.

Luis Miguel’s award winning career, which began as a copywriter, spans over 22 years; 11 of those years in the US Hispanic market. He’s worked at agencies such as Scali, McCabe & Sloves, McCann-Erickson, Mendoza-Dillon, GSD&M and Lintas, in places such as Mexico, Puerto Rico, Colombia, California, Texas and Miami. He is founder and was selected as the first President of the US Hispanic Creative Circle, “Circulo Creativo”.
