‘Gente Como’ debuts on WSBS-Mega TV.

Hosted by Mega TV personality Camilo Egaña, Gente Como is a new monthly documentary series that will explore the lives and origins of influential local personalities in Miami and their contributions to the city’s robust culture. Gente Como will include testimonials from friends, colleagues and family members to help tell the dramatic stories of the chosen protagonists and their impact on the Hispanic community in South Florida.
Camilo Egaña, famous for his journalistic instinct, promises to take Mega TV viewers on a journey behind-the-scenes of the real lives of some of Miami’s original cultural architects.
Through the first season, Gente Como will explore the lives of influential guests such as the Diaz-Balart brothers and Felipe Valls. The first documentary, launching Monday, February 19th at 9:00 p.m., will highlight Raul Martinez, the former mayor of Hialeah.
