Azteca America celebrates inauguration of Los Angeles Corporate Offices.

Azteca America and Grupo Salinas are pleased to announce the successful inaugural celebration of their corporate headquarters in Los Angeles with clients and friends during an event held at the world-famous Spago restaurant.
During an event held in conjunction with Phoenix Books, present were María Conchita Alonso, who has starred in Desperate Housewives, as the mother of the character played by Eva Longoria, as well as in Azteca America’s hit reality show La Academia USA; baseball great José Canseco; Gene Simmons, leader of the rock group Kiss and star of reality show Family Jewels with his partner Shannon Tweed; Elliot Gould, star of “Ocean’s 11;” Ed McMahon, and Emmy award winning producer Carl Reiner,
Other luminaries were Dick Van Patton, best known for his starring roll in “Eight is Enough” ; Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin; Knott’s Landing star Joan Van Ark; and Ed McMahon.
Also present were LA City Council President Eric Garcetti; LA Councilwoman Jan Perry; as well as former LA Mayor Jim Hahn; former California Assembly member and Deputy District Attorney Wally Karabian; and former LA County District Attorney Gil Garcetti.
