Parada – VP Ad Sales @ Discovery Networks U.S. Hispanic Group.

Discovery Networks U.S. Hispanic Group announced the promotion of Victor Parada to vice president of advertising sales for the company’s portfolio of three Spanish-language networks, Discovery en Español, Discovery Kids en Español and Discovery Travel & Living (Viajar y Vivir). Based in Miami, Parada reports to Luis Silberwasser, senior vice president and general manager.
“Victor has led the advertising sales strategy for Discovery’s U.S. Hispanic portfolio since 2005, and under his leadership, the portfolio has surpassed objectives and increased advertising revenue,” said Silberwasser. “Victor’s proven track record combined with his extensive industry knowledge will ensure that Discovery Networks U.S. Hispanic Group is in a position of strength as we head into the 2007 upfront selling season.”
