InterLiga Tournament returns live to Fox Sports en Español.

Fox Sports en Español announced the schedule for its live telecasts of the InterLiga tournament, the only all-Mexican professional club soccer tournament played entirely on U.S. soil. Spanish-language coverage of InterLiga(TM) kicks off on Fox Sports en Español on January 3 and includes a total of 14 matches through January 13 where eight Mexican teams vie for two final berths into the 47th edition of the prestigious Copa Toyota Libertadores. All matches will also be telecast by sister network Fox Sports Latin America.

Fox Sports en Español, the exclusive Spanish-language television broadcaster of the InterLiga(TM) tournament since 2004, recently entered into a four-year programming deal with Soccer United Marketing (SUM) that gives the Spanish-language sports networks television, online, wireless and VOD rights to the tournament through 2010.

The eight teams competing in InterLiga(TM) 2007 earned berths based on their combined record in the 2005 Apertura and 2006 Clausura seasons of the Mexican domestic league. Participating teams include: Group A – Cruz Azul, Monterrey, Necaxa and Tigres; Group B – Club America, Jaguares, UAG Tecos and Morelia.
