Pantene honors Hispanic Hair Stylists.
December 2, 2006
The relationship between Latinas and their Hair Stylists is like no other. It extends beyond friendship into family, and is based on loyalty and trust. Pantene is honoring Hispanic Hair Stylists by launching a national contest to find the Hair Stylist That Shines in the community. Pantene has partnered with salons throughout the country, and is encouraging Latinas to nominate their Hair Stylist because he/she shines among the rest.
The Hair Stylist That Shines contest aims to inspire Latinas to acknowledge Hair Stylists who they confide in, believe in, and admire. Pantene will identify and award one national Hair Stylist who celebrates and empowers Latinas, and three exceptional local Hair Stylists in California, New York and Florida. The program will also deliver a donation to the winner’s charity of his/her choice, selected from a list of Pantene pre-identified charities, to further support and give back to the community.
With this contest, Pantene is recognizing Hispanic Hair Stylists’ dedication and passion for their work. “Latinas have an especially strong bond with their Hair Stylists and we wanted to do something to honor that. This contest is an opportunity to celebrate that relationship and to also support small businesses in the Hispanic community”, said Mayra I. Pollock, Brand Manager for Pantene US Hispanic markets and Puerto Rico.
