Telemundo, announced the appointment of Angela Negreira to the position of Director of Business Development, based in Miami, Florida, effective immediately. The announcement was made by Dave Matthews, Senior Director of Business Development for Telemundo Stations, to whom Negreira will report.
“Angela is a key component in our strategy to design new, unique and relevant offers of help to advertisers reaching out to the U.S. Hispanic market,” said Matthews “Her expertise, experience with high-level decision makers, and ability to craft offers that help clients with concerns for today and tomorrow; make her a perfect fit for our team and our company.”
Negreira was most recently Senior Vice President of Marketing for Spanish-language broadcaster Univision, where she launched and developed the Mexico City, Mexico office, increasing sales in a previously untapped market.
In her newly appointed role with Telemundo, Negreira will be responsible for creating integrated marketing opportunities at the client level in the Southeastern region, as well as work with the Telemundo Stations’ Business Development office in Mexico.
