del Rivero Messianu DDB, was chosen as GolTV’s agency of record after working on a project by project basis with the Network since early April of 2006.
The agency was selected following a creative and strategic review process by GolTV’s marketing department that included other creative bids in search of the right fit to help the network continue to build on their brand image through 2007.
“With our unsurpassed growth in 2006 and the addition of some key leagues we were looking to keep up the momentum by becoming more visible as far as advertising and marketing,” said Enzo Francescoli, Founder and CEO for GolTV. “We wanted an agency that not only was creative but clearly understood the sport and as well as our business. The ideas that Del Rivero brought to the table were not only outstanding but reflected this understanding”.
In addition to helping build the brand through creative television and print work, the agency will also develop a number of creative campaigns tied to specific initiatives to be unveiled throughout the year.
“We’ve been after GolTV since they launched a few years ago. This is a dream come true for all the soccer fans at the agency, most who are already hard at work translating the network’s philosophy and planed initiatives into unforgettable creative visual concepts,” said Luis Miguel Messianu, Chief Creative Officer at del Rivero Messianu DDB.
Creative work and concepts will focus on Consumer and Trade publications both in the Hispanic and General markets. The account will be handled by Ludwig Ortiz as Account Director, Christian Reslen as Creative Director, Santiago Mussefeldt as Art Director, Ruben Salavert as Copywriter, under VP Creative Director José Luis Villa’s supervision.
