mun2 has a new digital home.

mun2 has a new digital home with the just-launched holamun2.com/hellomun2.com website. The new site replaces the network’s old site and domain, and has a completely re-branded and fresh look and feel. With its own life and personality, holamun2.com takes visitors beyond the mun2 TV experience, offering young Latinos an online environment that allows them to create their own social network.

The site will serve as a youth culture portal for a multicultural audience to share images, text and video about their lives as young Latinos in the U.S. Site features include an interactive community, mun2 TV highlights and extensions, original made-for-web content, user-generated content, interactive cross-media features and music, lifestyle and culture-focused content. In order to evolve with the dynamic bicultural demo, the site will continuously add new features and content to further connect with the youth community.

“This new site fills a void in media today,” said Peter Blacker, Senior Vice President of Digital Media, Telemundo. “There is currently no central place for young Latinos in the U.S. to come together and share what is important to them in an interactive, bilingual environment. The new Holamun2.com firmly plants a flag in the digital media world and invites all young Latinos around the U.S. to come together to create and experience a community that is uniquely their own.”

Alex Pels, General Manager for mun2, adds: “Holamun2.com will bring the mun2 brand closer to its core audience by creating an original online experience designed for a U.S. Latino youth audience. This is a full-scale initiative that will focus on creating relevant and exclusive content—we’re not just repurposing content found elsewhere or simply replaying music videos.”
