Southern California Neighborhoods win a Dreyer’s Ice Cream Block Party.

This summer, Dreyer’s is awarding 30 deserving Southern California neighborhoods with free ice cream parties as part of its La Cuadra Comparte con Dreyer’s program. Each winner will receive a doorstep delivery of Dreyer’s Slow Churned Ice Cream and all the supplies for a fun, memorable and easy-to-organize party.

“We were thrilled to hear we won. It’s a great way to bring our neighbors together for a fun evening and enjoy Dreyer’s ice cream,” said Juanita Casas, one of lucky winners from Montebello, CA.

As part of La Cuadra Comparte con Dreyer’s summer-long program, consumers were asked to explain why their neighborhood is unique and deserving of an ice cream block party for up to 100 neighbors. Some of the responses included:

Our neighborhood is filled with many good children and this is a great opportunity to reward them with a free Dreyer’s Slow Churned Ice Cream party – Noelia Garcia, San Diego, CA

Celebrity Chef LaLa will serve as spokesperson for Dreyer’s Slow Churned Ice Cream and will make media appearances throughout Southern California to show families delicious desserts made with Dreyer’s Slow Churned Ice Cream. Chef LaLa will also be making surprise appearances at the Dreyer’s neighborhood block parties where she will dish-up fun recipes with the local residents.
