South Florida Super Bowl XLI to launch ¡Super Fieston!

The South Florida Super Bowl XLI Host Committee and Eventus will launch “¡Super Fieston!”, two major grass-roots events scheduled to take place in Hispanic neighborhoods throughout the South Florida market. ¡Super Fieston! will be held from 12 Noon – 7 PM on Sunday, January 28th, 2007 in Broward County and on Saturday, February 3rd in Miami-Dade County.

“¡Super Fieston! is a terrific event for the South Florida community,” said Michael Kelly, President of the South Florida Super Bowl XLI Host Committee. “With each of our events, we are always trying to create events that everyone can participate in and enjoy. Our focus is to offer events that the residents of South Florida can attend to celebrate hosting Super Bowl XLI.”

The free festivals will bring the Super Bowl experience to South Florida communities by merging Latin music and football together into one event. ¡Super Fieston! will showcase performances by some of Latin music’s hottest artists and today’s emerging talent. The one-day events will also provide football fans with an interactive environment to include some of NFL’s Hispanic players, sponsor display areas, including new product demonstrations, and Latin food vendors.

“We are proud to be affiliated with the largest sporting event in America and are excited to introduce a grass-roots component to the awesome celebrations preceding Super Bowl XLI. We recognize the Hispanic market’s growing passion for football, and its continued desire to experience live musical events,” said Eventus’ CEO & President, Nelson Albareda. “¡Super Fieston! is a culturally relevant platform that is the perfect complement to football and Latin music, offering fans “face to face” interaction with football players, artists, and different brands and products,” added Albareda.

¡Super Fieston! is part of the Super Celebration Series and the festivities surrounding Super Bowl XLI in South Florida, that showcase South Florida’s vibrancy for music, football and culture, culminating with Super Bowl XLI on Sunday, February 4th, 2007 at Dolphins Stadium.
