EO Agency launches.

After taking a two-month sabbatical, the former Executive Creative Director of winglatino/Grey, Roberto Alcázar, returns to the arena with EO Agency, a new company focused on Branded Content. This is a model that is sparking the interest of more and more advertisers each day. It is also growing in the world of communications, where the product becomes part of the context of programming in all media (television, radio, internet, and even art) hence coming in direct contact with the consumer.

EO is a team formed by writers, advertising creatives, artists, journalists and photographers in New York City. These people are brought together not only by their common interests but by their admiration of each other’s talents.

“My partner, in addition to being a great business partner, is a great artist”, says Roberto Alcázar about his team partner Adrià Jover Sala. Together they have created a format that generates synergy across several disciplines, where brands become part of what the consumer wants to see in each one of the mediums he consumes. “We started our initial project with a Documentary that is taking on a life of it’s own and evolving into a series for TV. We are also producing original music for a chain of Hotels, a pilot for a TV show, and an Art Festival. And the common link between all of these diverse projects is that everything we are doing was created with a client in mind” explains Jover Sala.

At EO Agency projects have grown in a natural way. When they think about content they decided that they didn’t want to look only for advertising opportunities in content, rather they wanted to get involved in the creation of the branded content. “That is how we started EO Editorial within the Agency. This way we will offer our services to a select group of communication outlets in Latin America and the US in the form of a catalog of original content and interviews with celebrities that are hot in the Big Apple,” says Alcazar.

“EO is not a Hispanic Agency, but we are Hispanic. And everything we are doing right now although it starts from the Hispanic point of view is filtering and trickling into the general marketplace, much in the same natural way our culture does”.

Right now EO Agency works for major Advertisers and for a small group of Ad Agencies that want to offer their clients the services provided by a creative shop like EO, without loosing their main essence. Alcazar clarifies, “We don’t compete with Ad Agencies, we are a new ally for Ad Agencies.”
