Maria Celeste to co-anchor ‘Today’ weekend edition.

After her recent successful appearances as guest co-anchor of the “Today” show, NBC taps Maria Celeste Arraras to co-anchor the “Today,” Weekend Edition this Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, July 30th.
With Lester Holt reporting live from the Middle East, the Telemundo star will co-anchor the nation’s top rated news program, alongside Natalie Morales, live from New York’s Rockefeller Plaza.
“I am thrilled with the idea of doing the weekend edition of Today and working with Natalie. The previous times I served as guest co-host, she was on special assignment, so this will be a great opportunity for us to get to know each other,” said Maria Celeste.
