SUR Peru celebrates one-year anniversary.

SUR Peru and the first channel from Peru with international carriage, celebrates its one-year anniversary on July 23rd.
“We at SUR Peru are extremely proud to have become the favorite channel for Peruvians living in the U.S.,” says Mónica Brown, SUR Peru’s manager. “Our viewers can tune in each day for the most direct link to the daily reality of their homeland and a true international representation of the Peruvian culture.”
Brown attributes much of the network’s success over the last year to “delivering fresh and contemporary 100% Peruvian programming to its viewers”, including renowned journalist Jaime Bayly’s political show “El Francotirador”; variety show “Magaly TeVe”, the highest rated in Peru; “Prensa Libre”, hosted by lawyer Rosa María Palacios; children’s show “D la Re”; cooking show “Cocinando con Don Pedrito”; telenovela “Asi es la vida”; and comedy “Divorciados”.
