Itati returns to Telemundo.

Itati Cantoral, along with Francisco Gattorno, Zharic Leon and Alejandro Felipe star in “La Viuda de Blanco,” another great story from acclaimed writer, Julio Jimenez (El Cuerpo del Deseo, Pasion de Gavilanes) which will premiere on Monday, July 24 in a two-hour special starting at 8PM/7c, joining its regularly scheduled time slot on Tuesday, July 25 at 7 PM/6c.

“La Viuda de Blanco” is set against the backdrop of a small fishing village ruled by mystery and intrigue. The novela tells the story of Alicia (Itati Cantoral), a woman who is unfairly convicted of a crime she did not commit. Once out of jail, she returns to recover the treasure that was once taken away from her: her twin boys (Alejandro Felipe). While she fights to clear her name and reclaim what is rightfully hers, Alicia will find love in Sebastian (Francisco Gattorno); but secrets from the past will make their love impossible.

In the meantime, there are those who will do whatever it takes to interfere with Alicia’s plan; such as Dona Perfecta Albarracin (Zully Montero), who blames her for the death of her son and Iluminada Urbina (Zharick Leon), who will manipulate her way into Sebastian’s heart. But in Alicia’s darkest moments, she will find the support from someone unexpected, Justino Brinon (Flavio Caballero), a strange and solitary man feared by everyone in town.

“La Viuda de Blanco” is composed of an amazing cast which also includes: Osvaldo Rios as Amador Blanco, Lilibeth Morillo as Haydee Blanco, Eduardo Ibarrola as Laurentino Urbina, Rodolfo Jimenez as Lieutenant Pablo Rios, Manuel Balbi as Megateo, Pedro Moreno as Querubin, Alfonso Diluca as Hipolito, and Jeanette Lehr as Professor Judith, among others. The novela will be directed by Luis Manzo (Tierra de Pasiones). The general producer is Alicia Avila. Executive producer and creative director is Aurelio Valcarcel.
