Returning to Fox Sports en Español after a month-long hiatus due to the World Cup, the much anticipated quarterfinals of the Copa Toyota Libertadores resume Tuesday, July 18, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, with a second-leg match between Paraguay’s Libertad and Argentina’s River Plate; the teams tied 2-2 during their first-leg encounter. The remaining field includes eight clubs from Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador and Paraguay battling for Latin America’s most prestigious club soccer championship. All matches will be telecast live in Spanish and exclusively on Fox Sports en Español.

“The Copa Toyota Libertadores has consistently been one of our strongest properties and with extraordinary play from the Mexican and Argentine clubs, this year’s edition is shaping to be among our best ever,” said David Sternberg, executive vice president and general manager of Fox Sports en Español. “Now that the World Cup has come and gone, our viewers are hungry for the world-class soccer programming they’ve come to expect from Fox Sports en Español and we’re proud to be able to bring them continued live and exclusive coverage of this historic competition.”
