Ricky Martin @ Reventón Súper Estrella.

Spanish hit radio station Super Estrella 107.1 is bringing you Reventón, the concert of the summer with an artist line-up never seen before. This year’s Super Estrella summer music festival is not to be missed!

RBD, Ricky Martin, Julieta Venegas, Alejandra Guzman, Gloria Trevi, Hombres G, Belanova, Miranda, Sin Bandera, Julio Preciado and Mach & Daddy will all be on stage. The concert is scheduled for July 29th, 2006 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum; the first time Reventón Super Estrella is held at the historic stadium site making it the biggest Latin show to hit the venue. This is the 9th annual Reventón and it promises to be the concert of the year. The event is scheduled to begin at 2pm and end around 10pm; 8 hours of non-stop music.

Taking a break from their US sold out tour, RBD comes back to the place where it all began. The Mexican pop sensation will be back in Los Angeles after selling more than 63,000 tickets this past March. RBD will be coming in full force promising their fans over 40 minutes of their favorite songs. International pop music superstar Ricky Martin is back with a brand-new album, “Life”, the artist’s most eclectic collection to-date, and his first English language album since 2000.

Reventón is bringing the best of the best in Latin performers. “Limon y Sal” is the latest release from top selling female performer Julieta Venegas; she returns to Reventón this year to perform classics along with her brand new hits. La rockera de Mexico, Alejandra Guzman will also be part of the female line up, with her new CD “Indeleble” which has reached Platinum in Mexico, Alejandra will surely be adding some surprises to her performance. Toping the all star female cast will be Gloria Trevi, who was recently announced as part of the line up.

Hombres G is one of the most important Spanish Pop bands to come out of the 80’s. With a career spanning over 20 years, Hombres G will be delighting the crowd with their hits: “Venecia”, “Marta tiene un marcapasos” or “Devuélveme a mi chica” among others. From Guadalajara, the three piece group Belanova adds to Reventon an electro pop sound. Argentina`s most surprising musical success story of the past year is Miranda, a coed group with a girl’s name. In late 2003, critics praised the quintet’s second album, ‘Sin Restricciones,’ as a positive step forward in the bands catchy techno-pop style. Miranda’s sound can often be described as catchy and bubble-gum, this sound has helped the band sell over 250,000 copies worldwide.

Leonel García and Noel Schajris, better known as Sin Bandera, return to the musical scene with their latest album “Mañana”, bringing to Reventón a romantic touch. Old time favorite Julio Preciado will be joining the Reventón stage for the first time. Preciado is perhaps best known as an ex-member of the quintessential Mexican band, Banda El Recodo and Banda Limón before starting his own “Banda Perla del Pacífico”.

The Panamanian duo Mach & Daddy have been named 2006’s revelation duo. This is due to the sensation they have caused, not only in their country of origin, but also in neighboring latin countries. Their current single “La Botella” has earned them the number one spot in Mexico.
