Sidral Mundet’s new ad campaign.
May 26, 2006
Novamex, the marketer of fruit flavored drinks imported from Mexico and other packaged goods, introduced its new Hispanic advertising for Sidral Mundet with a focus on the brand’s more than 100 years of tradition and quality in Mexico.
Long-time agency of record, Los Angeles-based integrated marketing communication agency, Acento managed the creative component and handled media duties for the new campaign.
Acento produced the spot “Tradicion” for Sidral Mundet, delivering the message the brand has been a part of generations in Mexico. The spot depicts Sidral Mundet’s longstanding iconic status by showing students throughout the decades giving their teachers a bottle of the real apple juice soda instead of an actual apple. A second version of the spot was developed to introduce Sidral Mundet’s new Manzana Verde (green apple) flavor.
“Novamex is proud to be the importer of Sidral Mundet with its long tradition of quality in the Mexican market,” stated Sanford “Sandy” Gross, Executive Vice President for Novamex.
“This campaign helps brand Sidral Mundet’s longstanding tradition in the Mexican market, helping Novamex continue to grow as the leading marketer of products imported from Mexico targeting Mexican-Americans,” added Benito Martinez-Creel, Acento’s president and CEO.
Novamex’s new Sidral Mundet campaign represents the second year Acento has done a TV campaign and the first year it does buy activity for the brand. The campaign is currently active in key Mexican-American markets and will air through mid September 2006.
