Bonnie García buys back 100% ownership of Market Vision.

San Antonio-based Hispanic marketing agency Market Vision once again is 100 percent female- and minority-owned. Yvonne “Bonnie” García has announced her repurchase of the 49 percent share from her former partners, CoActive Marketing Group.
García founded Market Vision in 1998 after a 22-year career in corporate marketing with Fortune 100 companies.
While a partnership made sense in 2001, García explained, ties with publicly held entities can be cumbersome and impede creative energy. “Buying back my company will give me more time with clients,” she said.
Smart marketers realize the importance of Hispanic marketing, but corporate brand and promotion teams face enormous time demands. They require an agency that is an extended resource, providing insightful and integrated communications, García said.
“Market Vision’s reputation for being a nimble, flexible Hispanic marketing partner that can provide quality service, sometimes even overnight, will only be strengthened by our new business structure,” she added.
The agency has grown 214 percent in the last three years and has added advertising, media planning/buying and PR to its promotions/events infrastructure. “We are now well positioned to add greater value to our clients and will continue to be firmly rooted in our ability to turn Hispanic-market insights into results,” she added.
While García does not discount the possibility of pursuing another partnership, “any new relationship would have to be aligned strategically with my vision and be a cultural fit with the team that helped me build this agency,” she said.
Market Vision’s business dealings with its clients will not change, García stated. “We will continue to provide street-smart, strategically focused and tactically agile plans that ensure our clients succeed in the Hispanic marketplace.”
