Telemundo plays the ‘Lottery’.

From the creators of the hit television show Decisiones, comes to Telemundo “Loteria,” a new original series that shows that behind every winner, there is a story to tell. What would you do if you won the lotto? Starting on Saturday, April 15 at 7PM/6c, you can picture it with the premiere of “Loteria” on Telemundo.

Winning the lottery takes a great deal of luck, but being a winner can become quite the challenge and can bring unforeseen circumstances, as viewers will witness in this new series. Each “Loteria” episode starts by establishing the lives of the main characters before they win the prize, and later it portrays how their reality changes when they become winners.

Fun, laughs and unexpected plot twists, is what the audience can expect from this new original production that will capture the attention of viewers with stories filled with humor, as well as drama. Following are some of the upcoming episodes of this new series:

Miguel Varoni (Pedro el Escamoso) plays the role of a shameless man who has two lovers in two different cities on Dos Evas para un Adrian (Two Eves for Adrian). Everything is going well until he wins the lottery and one of the ladies moves to the same city as the other. The prize, rather than being a blessing, ends up being a curse.

La banda de los rata (The rats crew), the story of inseparable friends who share almost everything until they win the lottery and one of them runs away with the winning ticket. In this episode, don’t miss a special appearance by Telemundo’s sultry novela villain, Catherine Siachoque (Tierra de Pasiones).

Un Milagro para Monica (A Miracle for Monica), starring Ivonne Montero (Anita, no te rajes), is the story of a young widow who is forced to make a living as a prostitute because of her son’s illness. There is a moment in her life where only a miracle can save her. What happens when that miracle is the winning lottery ticket?

Como perros y gatas (Like Cats and Dogs) is the story of a married couple that pretends to get along, but the truth is that the husband has been unfaithful, the daughter is about to become a single mother, the mother-in-law lives with them, and if this weren’t enough, the neighbors are unbearable. What happens when you add $40 million to the mix?

A man’s excitement after winning the lottery is such that it kills him…literally. It is then when his “friends” scheme for a way to keep the money. Sergio Catalan (Tierra de Pasiones) stars in this episode entitled Pedro y las llaves (Pedro and the keys).

“Loteria” is an original Telemundo production taped at the Telemundo-RTI studios in Florida. The episodes include a variety of actors; among those are some of the audience’s favorites such as Miguel Varoni, Catherine Siachoque, Jose Angel Llamas, Ivonne Montero and Sergio Catalan.
