Lopez Negrete Communications promotes talent.

Lopez Negrete Communications announced the promotion of two individuals in the media and creative departments. Moving up the ladder are Jaime Belden to Creative Director/Direct Marketing and Lorena Cavazos to Media Buying Director. The promotions acknowledge the considerable contributions that these employees have made to the direction, sustained development and growth of their respective departments.

Previously Associate Creative Director for LNC, Jaime Belden is a 10-year veteran of Lopez Negrete Communications and brings nearly 30 years of experience to his new position as Creative Director/Direct Marketing. Mr. Belden’s experience includes the production of television, radio, print, collateral, outdoor advertising and brand management, as well as corporate and promotional graphic design. “My goal is to help the agency keep up with the bullet speed pace with which the Hispanic market is expanding. It is an exciting time for me, the LNC family, and the Hispanic community.”

As the new buying director for LNC, Lorena Cavazos brings eight years of experience to her new position. Prior to joining Lopez Negrete Communications, Lorena worked for Bromley Communications in San Antonio, Texas, where she developed an expertise in Hispanic broadcast national and local buying, working on multiple accounts such as Burger King, Coors, Zales Jewelers and Continental Airlines. She was then assigned group buying director responsibilities on the Procter & Gamble account. Currently, Lorena oversees national and local buying for Wal-Mart, Domino’s Pizza, Tyson Foods, and Visa USA.

“The agency’s growth is due, in large part, to its strategic focus within the Hispanic marketplace. Lopez Negrete Communications has set itself apart in the industry by becoming a strategic partner with its clients, helping them craft their overall communications plans and providing counsel on how to best reach, engage and establish profitable relationships with the Hispanic consumer,” said Alex López Negrete, president and CEO of the Houston-based, independently owned Hispanic marketing agency. He adds: “The recognition and promotion of talent within and outside one’s organization is one of the biggest challenges we face in this fast-changing environment. Jaime and Lorena are two jewels we are proud to call an integral part of the LNC family.”
