Alternative & Innovative Marketing adds senior executives.

With nearly 9 years of continued growth in the Hispanic marketing and promotions industry including event, retail and experiential grassroots marketing programs, Alternative & Innovative Marketing (AIM) has announced the addition of two senior executives to its leadership team.
Coming off the heels of several new account wins and industry recognition with a Gold Reggie Award from the Promotion Marketing Association for the second consecutive year, AIM is gearing up for continued growth and expanded client services, adding key executives in operations and account management. Joining the agency are Robert Gonzalez as General Manager and Robert Leppan as Senior Account Director.
Robert Gonzalez will oversee AIM’s event marketing, retail marketing, field operations, project management as well as information technologies and administration. He brings over 14 years of retail marketing and promotions experience, most recently with U.S. Marketing & Promotions (USM&P) where he was the Director of Retail Services. In that role, he was responsible for strategic account planning and overall retail operations.
Robert Leppan will manage the agency’s business with the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies that includes McNeil Consumer & Specialty Pharmaceuticals, Johnson & Johnson/Merck Consumer Pharmaceuticals, McNeil Nutritionals and VISTAKON, a division of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care.
With over 25 years of experience, Robert’s career spans senior brand marketing and management positions with Fortune 500 packaged goods companies including Proctor & Gamble and Unilever, founding a marketing & promotions company, and most recently heading the marketing function for Novamex, one of the premier marketers of Mexican food & beverage brands in the U.S.
