Cortés – Publisher of TVyNovelas.

Editorial Televisa announced the appointment of Juan Manuel Cortés as Publisher of their bi-monthly Spanish language celebrity magazine, TVyNovelas. With over 14 years of knowledge and expertise of working within the communications industry, Juan brings with him an extensive background in journalism, entertainment and public relations.

Juan Manuel began his career in Bogotá, Colombia as the Public Relations Director for Teatro Nacional and for the Mayor of Medellín. Later, Juan Manuel opened his own public relations firm, Info4, in which he represented top clients in Colombia such as L’Oreal, Casa Editorial el Tiempo, Volkswagen and Instituto de Seguros Sociales. Juan Manuel relocated to the United States in 2000.

Prior to joining Editorial Televisa, Juan Manuel managed the Latin entertainment on-line world at Eritmo.com. In print, he dazzled readers of TVnotas with his interesting and captivating stories highlighting Latin celebrities and their lifestyles. Juan Manuel went on to become a fixture in the Hispanic TV world with his special appearances on programs such as Al Rojo Vivo (Telemundo) and Escándalo TV (Telefutura) where he presented the latest news on the Latin entertainment industry.
