mun2 kicks off this month of February with a complete new VJ line-up for its top music shows. Starting this week, “One Nation Under Hip-Hop and “Se Habla Rock” will debut with new hosts and exciting guests.

Starting on Tuesday February 7th, “One Nation Under Hip-Hop”, the show that highlights the best music in hip-hop period, will be hosted by one of the nation’s premier DJs, Frankie Needles. Frankie got his start in 1986, purely for the love of music, and after perfecting his style, in 2001 he started playing as a radio on-air mixshow deejay. In 2003 he joined mun2 as the host and resident DJ of the prime time live music show “The Roof.” This week “One Nation Under Hip-Hop” will have interviews with Latin rap sensation Don Abusivo and Chicano rapper Lil Rob as special guests. “One Nation Under Hip-Hop” airs Monday through Thursday at 10PM.

“Se Habla Rock” is the weekly source of what’s cool, what’s classic and what’s around the corner. The one hour show created for the new generation “rockero,” will also premier this week with a new host. Efrain Morales, better known as “Efro,” began his entertainment career at the age of 15 doing interviews and entertainment reports for LATV. Efro also focused on theatre production and worked for the L.A. Opera. In addition, he co- produced many events showcasing local artists, short films, DJs, and poets. The week of February 12 the show will feature guest artists Eddie, current member of musical band Plastilina Mosh; and Bugs, member of Californian rock band Pastilla. “Se Habla Rock” airs Sundays at 11:30PM.
