January 13, 2006
The AIM Tell-A-Vision Group (AIM TV) announced their weekly syndicated programs, American Latino TV and LatiNation have hit an all time high with a combined fall audience reaching over 1.2 million viewers.
Citing a recent Nielsen Benchmark study*, viewing households for AIM TV’s flagship program, American Latino TV, increased to 730,000 homes and over 800,000 viewers overall, representing an all-time-high for the three-time Imagen Award winning program. The watershed audience level represents a dramatic 40% increase in Homes and 21% increase in overall viewers from Nielsen’s previous report. American Latino TV, currently in its fourth season, is distributed on English language broadcast outlets in over 85 markets representing over 65 million homes including 85% of U.S. Hispanic Homes.
American Latino TV’s half-hour companion show, LatiNation, hit big numbers with over 370,000 homes and over 450,000 viewers tuning in according to a second Nielsen Benchmark study*. LatiNation, currently in its second season, is distributed in over 70 markets representing over 80% of U.S. Hispanic Homes.
Each shows’ weekly success via broadcast distribution highlights the programs’ viewership as the largest targeted U.S.-born, English-language Latino audience in the world.
“AIM TV’s consistent audience delivery demonstrates our competitiveness–not only with the Spanish language network television–but with many large mainstream cable networks. Our success in delivering a critical mass of young acculturated, U.S.-born Latinos gives advertisers and stations unprecedented reach to this grossly underserved target and illustrates that a well researched, properly executed good idea can succeed,” states Robert G. Rose, CEO of AIM Tell-A-Vision and Executive Producer of the programs. “Our in-house marketing and distribution team, AIM TV’s Maximás Productions and on air talent all share in this victory.”
