Telemundo @ Torino.

On February 10th Telemundo began their special coverage of the 2006 Winter Olympics from Torino, Italy. Starting very early in the morning until late at night, US Hispanic viewers throughout the nation can get the Olympic scoop through several of the network’s sports and entertainment programs. Jessi Losada and Edgar Lopez will host of the special coverage with the support of Leti Coo and Mara Montero, bringing exclusive stories live from the Winter Olympic headquarters.

Below is a breakdown of Telemundo’s 2006 Winter Olympic coverage starting on Friday, February 10 until Sunday, February 26:

Cada Dia con Maria Antonieta (7am/6c) – Coverage begins early in the morning with Edgar Lopez and Mara Montero reporting live from Torino.

Cotorreando (12/11AM c) – Everyone’s favorite entertainment-news show joins in the excitement of the Olympic Games, offering re-caps and special reports on the athlete’s latest achievements.

Al Rojo Vivo con Maria Celeste (5pm/6 c) – Veteran Sports anchor, Jessi Losada, will host a special segment, which takes a look at the Olympic tradition.

Noticiero Telemundo (6:30pm/5:30 c) – The network news will offer special segments featuring relevant stories originating in Torino.

Titulares Telemundo – Live from Torino, Telemundo’s sports-highlight program Titulares Telemundo at noon (12:30pm/11:30 CT) as well as the night edition (11pm/10 CT or after the local news) will sum-up all of the week’s Olympic action.

Besides the above mentioned coverage, Telemundo will also air Olympic briefs during the first hour of weekday prime-time programming and late at night from Monday thru Sunday.
