TWI strengthens presence in LatAM, Caribbean & US Hispanic Markets.

TWI has strengthened its presence in Latin America, the Caribbean and US Hispanic markets by moving Felix Alvarez-Garmon, TWI’s Senior Vice President for operations across those regions, to Miami Florida.

The move is part of TWI’s growth strategy for the future as the company, already the world’s largest independent producer and distributor of sports programming, seeks to consolidate its position as a market leader.

Alvarez-Garmon, a Spanish national who was born in Buenos Aires, will focus not just on sports, but also explore factual and entertainment, formats and new media opportunities across the regions.

Bill Sinrich, CEO of TWI said: “Felix already has substantial experience of working in the region, from his involvement with SNTV, helping to set up its Latin American and US Hispanic operation in 1996, to project managing major events in Latin America for TWI. These are important markets for us, and growing so re-locating Felix at the heart of the region is a natural development. It will help TWI meet the challenges of the future and significantly grow our business as the number of media platforms in that area multiplies.”
