Creative Civilization Agency Principals Awarded Spurs Championship Rings.

As the agency of record for the 2005 NBA World Champion San Antonio Spurs, Creative Civilization has played an integral advertising and marketing role during each of the three Spurs NBA Championships. To honor the agency’s contributions, The San Antonio Spurs presented agency principals Al Aguilar and Gisela Girard with 2005 NBA Championship rings to recognize the agency’s achievements as they launch new creative work for the 2005/2006 season.

“We’re excited about going into our seventh year as the agency of record for the team. The entire Spurs organization is dedicated to a quality product and a winning formula. This is a great honor,” said Al Aguilar, Chairman and CEO of Creative Civilization.

Creative Civilization is responsible for strategic development and production of advertising campaigns for all regular season and Playoff series runs that have resulted in the 1999, 2003 and 2005 NBA world championships. Each campaign has included all broadcast, outdoor and print advertising, along with logos and other collateral materials. When Creative Civilization created the “Go Spurs Go” campaign in 1999, no one could have predicted that the slogan would resonate with fans worldwide and become the mantra for all future Playoff runs.

In addition to receiving an NBA championship ring, Aguilar and Gisela Girard, president and COO of Creative Civilization, were honored to pose with the trophies awarded to the Spurs following their three NBA championship victories.*
