LatinWorks Wins Multiple MarCom Creative Awards.

LatinWorks received top awards at the 2005 MarCom Creative Awards competition, based in Arlington, TX:

·Beech-Nut Nutrition Corp.: Platinum in the TV/Campaign category for the “Grandmothers” and “Red Alert” TV campaign

·U.S. Cellular: Platinum in the TV/Campaign category for the “Poets” TV campaign

·Budweiser: Platinum in the TV/Single Spot category for the “Pronunciation” TV spot

·United Way: Platinum in the TV/Single Spot category for the “Window” TV spot

·ESPN: Gold in the Marketing/Promotions/Promotion Materials category for the “Fútbol a Football” promotion

·Beech-Nut Nutrition Corp.: Gold in the TV/Single Spot category for the “Grandmothers” TV spot

“LatinWorks consistently pushes the creative boundaries for our brand and I am thrilled to hear the Poets campaign won a platinum award,” stated Peter Cremer, director of brand management at U.S. Cellular. “This campaign is directed to the general market, rather than the Hispanic consumer specifically, and I believe LatinWorks’ ability to produce creative that speaks to all targets was key in winning this award.”

The MarCom Creative Awards is an international awards competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication practitioners. Entries are judged by industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. There were 4,613 entries from throughout the United States and several foreign countries in this year’s competition.

The Gold Award is presented to those entries judged to exceed the high standards of the industry. The Platinum Award is presented to those entries judged to be among the most outstanding entries in the competition. Platinum Winners are recognized for their excellence in terms of quality, creativity and resourcefulness.
