Wortsman – President & Stuart – Executive VP Of UTG.

Univision Communications Inc. announced that Michael D. Wortsman has been named President of the Univision Television Group. Wortsman was previously Co-President, Univision Television Group.

Univision also announced the appointment of Charles Stuart to Executive Vice President and Director of Sales, Univision Television Group. Stuart will remain based in New York and report to Wortsman. Previously, Stuart was Executive Vice President, National Sales. In his new role, Stuart will maximize sales efforts at the 62 stations in the Univision and TeleFutura Television groups.

“Mike is a veteran media executive and has been instrumental in expanding Univision Television Group into a leading force in the industry today,” said Ray Rodriguez, President and Chief Operating Officer, Univision Communications Inc. “Under Mike’s leadership, we expect to see great improvements in sales at the station group and are delighted that he has agreed to take on these additional responsibilities.”
