Telemundo Celebrates 20th Anniversary Of KVEA-TV In LA.

Telemundo celebrates the 20th anniversary of Channel 52 in Los Angeles, and thanks television viewers who have supported the station and network throughout these years with a four-day series of star-studded events.

The celebration will begin on Thursday, November 10th with the taping of “Una Noche de Paz”, a benefit concert for Special Olympics that will take place at Anaheim’s Theater at the Arrowhead Pond, to be aired during the holidays. The special will feature Latin music’s most acclaimed recording artists singing their greatest hits and favorite Christmas songs. The line-up includes A.B. Quintanilla & Los Kumbia Kings, Ruben Blades, Luis Fonsi, Conjunto Atardecer, Jose Feliciano, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Don Omar, Victor Manuelle and Patrulla 81, among others. Tickets to the event are available through Ticketmaster.

On Saturday, November 12 and Sunday, November 13, the celebration continues with “Fiesta de Estrellas Telemundo,” an unprecedented event at Universal Studios Hollywood where the public will not only enjoy the theme park, but will also have the opportunity to meet their favorite novela and television personalities. The “Telemundo Ticket,” offered at a discount price of $38 for both days, will allow fans use of the park, and the chance to get autographs and pictures of artists, participate in Q&A sessions with the Telemundo stars, and enjoy various musical acts.

Some of the stars confirmed to appear are Alejandro Felipe, Alfonso de Anda, Ana Maria Polo, Ana Patricia Candiani, Candela Ferro, Edgar Lopez, Esteban Arce, Gabriela Spanic, Gloria Aura, Ilia Calderon, Jessi Losada, Jose Angel Llamas, Maria Antonieta Collins, Lety Coo, Luisa Fernanda Lozano, Mauricio Ochmann, Mauricio Zeilic, Monica Noguera, Natalia Streignard, Paola Rey, Papa Rush, Pedro Sevcec, Rocio Sanchez-Azuara, and Saul Lisazo, among others.

In addition, the network’s news, sports and entertainment programs: “Cada Dia con Maria Antonieta,” “Cotorreando,” “Al Rojo Vivo,” “Noticiero Telemundo,” and “Titulares y Mas,” will join the festivities by broadcasting live from Santa Ana Fiesta Marketplace, Universal Studios Hollywood and CityWalk in Los Angeles beginning Thursday, November 10th through Sunday, November 13th.
