Lopez Negrete Expands Team.

Houston based Lopez Negrete Communications has announced the hiring of five new professionals in its public relations department, two in account services and one in the media department, to better serve the agency’s growing client needs.

Joining the Lopez Negrete public relations team are Ryan Rice as account supervisor; Jennifer Gee as senior account executive; Susie Rodriguez as account executive; Judy Goldberg as account executive; and Melissa Gonzalez as account coordinator. Ryan Rice joins Lopez Negrete from the American Heart Association, where he served as senior communications director for seven years in Houston and Los Angeles. Jennifer Gee joins Lopez Negrete on the Bank of America team. Most recently, Gee served as the public relations manager for another Houston-based agency. Susie Rodriguez joins Lopez Negrete from The Children’s Museum of Houston, where she served as public relations associate. Judy Goldberg joins Lopez Negrete from the Page Parkes Center of Modeling and Acting, where she served as the regional promotions director in Houston. Prior to that, she served as the director of operations for the US Talent Corporation in Houston for two years. Melissa Gonzalez is a recent graduate of the University of Houston and served as an intern at both de La Garza Public Relations and M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Joining the account services team are Carmen Martínez as senior account executive and Michael Vogel as account executive. Carmen Martínez joins LNC as a senior account executive. Carmen has seven years of international and domestic experience in the areas of advertising marketing, and operations. Carmen will be working on the Fiesta, Maseca, Geico and Globe accounts. Michael Vogel comes to Lopez Negrete from Pyranha, Incorporated, a leading national manufacturer of equine care products, where he served as the director of marketing and sales for the past four years in Houston. Michael also brings with him a cumulative marketing experience of more than 13 years, in various industries such as financial, pharmaceutical and construction, both in the United States and abroad. Michael will be working on the Wal-Mart account.

Joining the media department is Jason Valdez as assistant media planner. Jason Valdez joins Lopez Negrete from the University of Houston, where he received a degree in international business. Jason helped create and develop Axxishouston.com, one of the premier Houston-area night life promotions company. Jason will be working on the Visa, Bank of America, Tyson, Blue Leaf and Reliant Energy accounts.
