MLB Postseason Action Returns To Fox Sports en Español.

Live and exclusive Spanish-language coverage of the Major League Baseball (MLB) postseason returns to Fox Sports en Español for the fifth consecutive year. MLB postseason action kicks off in prime time tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT, beginning with a Division Series encounter between the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Playoff action returns to Fox Sports en Español Thursday, October 6 (8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT) and continues with a Division Series doubleheader on Saturday, October 8 (4:00 & 7:30 PM ET/1:00 & 4:30 PM PT). On Sunday, October 9, Fox Sports en Español will feature a prime time Division Series nightcap at 7:30 PM ET/4:30 PM PT, should it be necessary. Division Series coverage may be extended to Monday, October 10 on Fox Sports en Español with potential Game 5 doubleheader coverage at 4:00 PM ET/1:00 PM PT and 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT. Teams and locations are to be determined. Depending on the total of games played in each of the four Division Series match-ups, Fox Sports en Español could air as many as seven games during MLB’s first playoff round.

Fox Sports en Español’s Jose Tolentino and Adrian Garcia will provide in-studio commentary, while play-by-play responsibilities will be shared by Pepe Mantilla (NL Games), Mario Velasco (AL games), and Pepe Yniguez (AL games). Color commentary will come from former MLB standout and current Dodger coach Manny Mota (NL games). Additional broadcasters may be added to Fox Sports en Español’s MLB postseason coverage as needed and will be announced at a later date.

In addition to offering live and exclusive Spanish-language coverage of selected MLB Division Series games, Fox Sports en Español also will transmit key National League and American League championship games as well as the 2005 World Series.
